As some of you know, I like to start out my day with fresh fruit and some fruit juice, a tradition for many years now. Today was no exception, with grapes, pear, and a plum. (The juice is from Wal-Mart!)
About an hour later, at the dining hall, I followed up with a delicious cucumber salad, plus a dish of cooked cabbage with tomato and green pepper. I remember how glad I was to get back to a Chinese breakfast earlier this month. Would we Americans do well to take some lessons?
